Major Fred Mohrmann (Ret.), Leavenworth, Kansas passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2018 at 69 years of age.
The oldest of three boys, Fred began his lifelong dedication to the United States Army when, at the age of 16, he convinced his parents to allow him to go to military high school. Fred then served in active duty, established home and family in Leavenworth, Kansas, retired as an Army Major and continued to serve our country as a civilian until his illness rendered him unable. Fred earned a master’s degree, was an artist, author, teacher, certified diver, wine enthusiast, avid reader and traveler.
Surviving Fred are his greatest points of pride, his wife of 42 years, Suzanne Mohrmann and their three children, Ian, Shawn and Brittney, children’s spouses and five grandchildren.
Service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 at St. Paul Episcopal Church at 209 N 7th, Leavenworth, KS 66048 at 11 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at J.W. Crancers.
