Romar Stokes, 28, has been arrested in connection to an alleged attempted capital murder incident that took place on Nov. 14 in Ford County.

Stokes is the third person arrested in the case along with Irvin D. Linsy, 37, and William J. Howard, Jr., 37.

According to Ford County Attorney Kevin Salzman, Stokes has been charged with attempted capital murder, which is an off-grid person felony, that carries a maximum penalty of a life sentence.

"As this is an ongoing investigation, I will simply confirm at this time that these charges arise from an incident that is alleged to have occurred on or about Nov. 14," Salzman said previously. "Mr. Linsy, Mr. Howard and Mr. Stokes are presumed innocent of the charges filed against them at this time."
