The monthly meeting of the Rowdy Wrangles 4-H Club was Nov. 12 at First United Methodist Church. It was an exchange meeting with S.H.A.F.F. 4-H club and our annual Thanksgiving dinner.
The song leaders led us in the song, “10 Little Turkeys.” Two bills were presented for our Thanksgiving dinner and record book gifts. The leaders reported that the enrollment for the new 4-H year is open and the deadline is Dec. 1. The cost is $15 per member. We will still be collecting milk jugs for our Christmas float which will be Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. The service committee reported that we will go bell ringing at Price Chopper or Walmart, and go Christmas caroling at Vintage Park. The motions passed.
Under new business, we discussed t the first council meeting will be Nov. 26, at 7 p.m. at Celebration Hall. This month’s program was presented by Nikayle and Oaklyn Boyd on how to make a pumpkin decoration. For recreation, we played the toothpick game. The meeting was adjourned by the 4-H motto.
